Faux Painting - Brick Wall

First, a little background. I lived in a large condo in Chicago. This condo served as my "lab" for my experiments in faux painting. During the course of a year, I painted most of the other rooms, using techniques such as: sponging, stencilling, color wash, and rag rolling. I just kept reading and experimenting. I had wanted to paint a "brick" wall in the master bedroom. The room had an odd shape and I wanted to make it look larger, but I wasn't sure how to do it.

I woke up one morning and suddenly it all came together. By that time, I was creating my own colors, using universal stainers. This allowed me to create whatever color I wanted, avoiding the expense of buying many different cans of paint.
